A Place Called Home, was a photography project I completed during my Masters program at Goddard College. This was a piece that supported my Sites specific work more in depth and looked at Miami, my place of birth and the lack of care to historic Black buildings. I couldn't help but wonder how locals are affected by their surroundings and if we subconsciously equate the lack care in our environmental landscapes with our larger bodies.
